The dogs are very intrigued by the smells coming from the kitchen........
Robin is a FANTASTIC cook, I should by all rights weigh 300lbs, but work sees to it that I don't.
I was on another site figuring out what the maximum CFM my 223 in my '62 would be and it came out to 205CFM with my stock engine. It's amazing ho so many people will place a 750 or 850 CFM carb on an engine that can not even use that amount. My sons camaro worked out to 385CFM with a stock engine.

The next time you're over here ask Harley about him putting a 750 Holley on his Y-block..............
I've seen guys do this my whole life, and then blame the Holley!

I should talk........I run a 390cfm holley 4v on a V-6 that can only use 215cfm stock.
The up side is the cam, headers, port/polish and .040 over, and the fact that 99% of the time I only run on the tiny primaries.

I've got the same 390 Holley on my 300-6 with an Offy manifold an headers. Works great!
The Ranger gets up and goes too, but it is more of steady build up, not neck-snapping by any account, being that it is on 31s w/3.73s a 4x4 and a long-bed that weighs in @ 4,100lbs.
I have proved that it is capable of speeds that the suspension and tires WILL NOT support...lol!
My sons Camaro has the original Quadrajet Carb on it. I personally like the way the Rochesters were made with the graduated metering rods on the secondaries. Holley makes a excellent carb as well. I would like to change my 223 back to a single barrel Holley. The Autolite 1100 I think has issues. I think many people just throw it on not thinking about mileage. Of coarse if you stay out the secondaries on both it would help, haha.
