Yes. I live on an old abandoned Air Force radar base. My shop is on the main base, and there are 24 homes in a development along side the main base. It use to be base housing. It's on a flat top mesa at 4,300' and I can see for a hundred miles+ in all directions...

 

I'll have to come check it out sometime, I know my wife is open for relocation but not sure we could afford the health care insurance if we were to move to the U.S. We sure would like to be somewhere that the winters weren't so long.

If you ever come out here I'll bet you won't want to leave...... I absolutely love it up here. No yuppies, no druggies, no crime. You can leave your keys in your rig and leave your house unlocked. I'll never move again...
