I would come drag you home Mike but I am in Anderson, Indiana Monday-Friday for my foreseeable future.

On a plus side it does mean I get free beer on the company and good lunch and dinner out every day.

and if I raised it enough and removed the wheels and tires I could lift it for other things.....
All but one of them lifted my 2000 7.3 6spd extended cab just fine. One would get about 3'off the ground and trip the pressure relief valve....just don't remember which hoist it was. Never tried with my currant truck.

Napa brought the starter, but no metric wrenches at the MG shop. Jodi towed me home, its in the barn, fresh 30 pack, it is all good.

Thanks for the offers guys, it means a lot.

There was a company at Autorama or the Detroit Autoshow last year that specialized in lifts, but I'm not sure what they were. I want to say they had 8,000lb lifts, but don't quote me on that.

Also I got a question. If I was going to ship a set of springs, what company would I use?

We ship leaf springs Fed Ex all the time. Avoid the brown truck at all costs.

Speaking of hoists, starter replacement on a hoist with correct tools is much easier to do than laying on your back with crappy tools. The wood stove and the beer fridge were also key players in making the swap easy. Only problem I ran into was that it went so fast it was hard to squeeze in beer drinking time. I managed to, though.

Maybe bring your truck and test all the lifts before they take them down.

Happy Tuesday....

Rich you have a tonneau cover, so you could just fill the bed and the cab with helium balloons to make it a little lighter.

The traction issue is due to the crapyear crappy design and compound. The helium has nothing to do with it.

Ten? TEN!? It's a 7.3... I bet my truck is worth at least $140k now.
