There is a junkyard in Deerfield. Nagys is the name I think. Only place in Michigan with the radius arms I need and I was wondering if anyone could get them and meet me half way. I'll just have to not be lazy and make the drive myself.

Work it is! I just learned I will be taking a trip around all the plants the next few weeks again. Melvindale Thursday and Friday, Louisville Monday-Wednesday next week and Birmingham Monday - Thursday the following.

 

Soooo, is it something you want to do? I have been sent in several trips lately, I like that it breaks up the job a bit, but can't stand being away from the family.

 

Being away from home so much is the issue. It does not do wonders for me and the wife.

 

If I ever want to have a kid I need to be home more until then I have been told no.

 

I get it, believe me, I get the rolling eyes when they call in the middle of the night. Last night they called at 9:15, I got home around 5 am. Then they started calling at 8:30am. I got three hours, then set up the pool, but the wife is not happy at all with my company, which as you know, can make a job even worse.

 

For sure, I am on call 24x7x365 as well. My wife hates my phone. Not to mention being under-payed and overworked just like the rest of us.

 

I hear you guys about being away from home. This is the 5th week now where I'm gone Monday through Thursday. I don't understand how someone could live this way.

 

I used to make a living traveling, there's no doubt I made a killing. I don't miss it but... I sure do miss those paychecks!!! The guys were a blast too, damn good group of guys!

 

Yeah but money isn't everything.

 

I really hate that the mobile site is not up yet for the iPhone.
