I am reading 150+ rpm when cranking though so that rules the cps/cmp sensor out doesn't it?

Alright I ordered a new CPS from Clay we will see what it does but I am not holding my breath. Also got the replacement drain plug for the water separator on the Excursion to offset the shipping cost.

There used to be a doc.google page floating around about the no start tree for diesels. I'll find it when I get home because I bet I can't link on mobile.

I have the document I posted it up here when I first did the swap. I looked at it but everything checks out except for icp.

I went though a tire purchase for our TT last summer and after a few weeks of researching, I finally settled on Maxxis M8008's from realdealtires.com Best prices I found. I had Belle Tire mount them when they arrived.

I read the Goodyear Marathon was made in China, so I went a different route. The guys on the Keystone forum seem to really like the Maxxis tires.

Isn't there something in the front cover of the 7.3 that causes low oil pressure resulting in a no start?

CPS is on the front of the engine, ICP is on the back of the HPOP fuel bowl heater is in the fuel bowl with a fuse in the cab. All 3 things can stop a 7.3 in their tracks

Edited for correction

Jay ordered some of the Goodyears this afternoon. He gets vendor pricing so it wasn't too painful. His price on Carlisle tires is really good, but wanted something better. If these don't work out we're going to try LT tires next.
Don't be afraid to call if you need tires mounted either.

Fuel heater this time of year? Does that fuse power something else more important?

Exhaust is going to exit out the side of the hood. I'm going to have to build them.

Ya really never know when the fuel bowl heater will jump up and bite you. It shouldn't but...

Go out the fenders john like the camaro on "Street Outlaws" or do a cowl hood and stick them out each side of the cowl

It'll be more like the elcamino from the same show. With the design of the truck there going to have to come out of the sides of the hood. I've got a lot of work to do before I get that far though. Physical getting the front clip around the engine is going to be a big task.

Ok I think we are heading off in the wrong direction diagnosing my truck. I have no ICP! it cranks and shows rpm and buzz tests fine. I dont know if anything mentioned really has anything to do with the ICP right?
