Very confused right now trans temp says it is around 175 but gauge is pegged and of light flashing!

Stop and pull the dip stick, see if it smells.

I look at repocast every week also. Typically the stuff goes ridiculously high. This is a $400 gun I got for about $250 after fees, and it's like new.

I also have the framing nailer. So nice being cordless.

trust the gauge then. it might be a sensor failing.

Don't look at the factory gauge for anything. There the equivalent to idiot lights

IMPORTANT Michigan BS - Required Reading!

The kicker is I picked it up for $250. He wanted $600 on arms list but when I saw it up close he had taken spray paint to it and it looks pretty bad. So I need to strip it down and strip the paint back off. the gun is only 2 months old he had the original receipt from Cabelas.


Operation Trans sensor replacement started tonight. Got the pan dropped and the sensor pulled. Have to swing by dealer first thing at 9am when they open then button up quick to be on the road around 10:15. Wish me luck.

Was this temp problem on the ex or is frankenbee alive once again?
