Works for me. It would be worth it to see your truck.

I will call tomorrow and leave my order with them. Not ready for a box now, but that's what credit cards are for!

Count me in. I was planning on getting one for El Guapo, when it gets back from paint. Yes, he's making progress, but it's been slowed by the cold weather. You can't rush an artist.

I'm so anxious I called them yesterday and gave them all my details and had my credit card at the ready. But then he said "You do know the buy doesn't start for a week?"

Any thought about going with a faster ratio in the box? I've heard it is an option, but don't know for sure.

I do know something about the significant improvement even a rebuilt box can make. I had an 82 Explorer with a badly worn box and had experimented with adjusting it, only to learn that you can either have slop & feel or no slop & no feel. (Reminds me of an obnoxious commercial running now. Wonder which brand that is?) So I replaced the box and took it for a drive. A few miles later I realized I wasn't paying any attention to how it drove - it drove so well I had gone on autopilot. Again I said "focus!". But a bit later I realized again that I was just driving. Talk about a transformation, that box made a tremendous difference to that truck. So, I can only imagine what a Redhead will do for a truck since it has to be much better than the rebuilt box.

Now thats what Im talkin about! This ole truck was never tight, and has gotten progressively worse. Not much to look at yet (Its hard to do body work and paint while your driving it) but the drivetrain is first rate and gets great mileage.

I'm confident that we'll all be happy with the new boxes. For some of us, though, the happiness will be delayed as this truck is in a million pieces. I really should change my sig to represent the current status. Think I'll do that.......

Been driving it for 8 yrs, figured out last week that it had a torched off double D steering shaft stuck into the lower end of a splined ujoint. Ordered new parts to fix it, new double D shaft didn't stay in the box long enough to get to me. Got Jegs working on that one now.

That's weird. Bet they'll find it.

There, that sig's more representative of the situation.
