Another Ford in Family

The wife found a sweet 04 Gran Marquis. It is showroom clean with 35,000 miles. Its burgundy with parchment leather interior. It has new tires on factory rims. It cost $6,000 but I believe its worth it. Its our second one. Her 2000 was a great car. It was totaled by a 8 pt deer. I'm glad she found one she liked. I can keep her out of my F250.

Either way it is a "color" one rarely sees nowadays. I'd go with Burgundy as it looks like wine.

The wife is happy so I'm happy. It looks like a good car. I like the big Ford cars. We have owned 1 Crown Vic & now 2 Gran Marquis. Te last 2 were great cars. Good mileage & very dependable. They both got around 20 mpg city & 24 & better highway. Not bad for the size car they are.

Great G-M! hope it serves you well for years.
One of the area Police depts had several unmarked, civilian trim G-M's in their fleet to supplement their CV-PI's
Very hard to spot in traffic, very stealthy, and very surprising to some clueless folks who did very stupid things, and found out that isn't grandma's Grand Marquis behind them.

I expect many years of service from this car. We took our time & finally found one that is in great condition & a good price. Its a Craigslist find believe it or not. It was owned by a retired police captain.

My wife says its strange looking up at other drivers now. She drove the F250 3 years & looked down at cars like her new one. LOL
