56 F100 Door

Anyone know of a source for a good drivers side door.
I bought one sold to me as good, after sanding it, it was terrible. This isn't a reflection on the seller as the rust was from a long time ago and brazed in. I'm tired of rust repair. All work is complete except for this door.
Thanks in advance. I did post in wrong section earlier.

I need a drivers door as well. I found a guy near Denton TX that had some 56 doors. We just never could get together, it's a bit far from St. Charles to get a door. If you want his phone number PM me.

those are neat doors. I love the door art... hand painted, even had a mistake or omission as there is no apostrophe 's in Starrs on the one door.

I think hand painting lettering is a lost art.

Hey, Bill I didn't know they were yours. They are nice but they should be reduced... I noticed another mistake: Service is missing an I on the passenger door! LOL

Painter must have been drunk or had 2 painters each doing a door. The lettering doesn't match in size or style from side to side. Done with 2 different size brushes. Love the mistakes tho.

"LAWN SERVICE" is a larger size on the passenger door. If he did that door first and he had an "OOPS" moment when he saw that he couldn't fit SERVICE on the door perhaps he kept out the I. Then he did the drivers side doors with smaller letters to make it fit....

Had he noticed the mistake, he would likely have washed off the fresh paint and did it over. One shot can be easily washed off with thinner for a couple of days after application and even longer off well cured OEM paint if done carefully. Any experienced vehicle sign painter or pinstriper occasionally has to fix a mistake.
