And yank his chain or RC's on getting that 400 loosened up and prepped before you try to start it.

To save things you need to start a document folder to past "copy and past" information in. I have one on my laptop. I have a ton of copy and past info.

Good Morning Everybody!

Jeff. This weekend would be better for me to head north. I have surgery on Monday to remove the cancer spot on my face and I don't think I'll be in any mood to root through a junk yard after that.

I have a trip to Monett today to get the parts I need for the GTO. Then I can get that disaster back together and see if it'll run. After that, I have 8 new cars to go through and get ready for sale.

The big news for the day is that the '49 is gone. I really wanted to keep it, but December is rough on a hotrod shop. No worries about the gasser, though. I decided to build one from scratch using a bantom body. I think it'll be cooler in the long run. Maybe when I'm rich and famous, I'll buy another '49 already done.

Another sad day in the hotrod shop.....I will still have your unique parts for what ever and when ever you build something.

Hang in there brother.

BANDIT is a Ranger or Ranger xlt cab,
Originally a 3 speed auto, now a 4 speed (he did tell me he switched this out.
3:54 gears
Dana 60 rear
Can't find the front exactly, it doesn't have a 1979 for the code

Medium Vaquero Metallic two tone with pastel sand

Interior was Ranger xlt lariat sand on vinyl

I looked up the color, not too cool.

Highboy lift springs out of an fe truck. With the weight of the diesel, these will do the trick.

Hoping to keep the body lift at minimum.

Alan, thinking here, but these springs, a hydraboost brake system to make room on the drivers side, an I may look at those new air conditioning systems to make room on the passenger side....we might not need a body lift? If so we can go minimal?

Rich, what is the story on highboy springs? You can use the front, but the back are too narrow? The back highboy springs were about 2 inches wide....

Today's projects.....not too much other than the trip, but I did put in the better horn button and I got my windshield wiper **** on.

Next week may get a drivers door and a passenger fender maybe more.

That hb, is tall and still has the fe heavyweight motor in it. The front springs look good. And besides, anything is better than my blocks with negative arch springs!

Even with the 3inch body lift it doesn't look like he has much space to take off valve covers....
