Stereo installed, speakers working, Kenwood stereo was at the junk yard for 30, so I got it. Bluetooth and everything. Screen is the same color as my dash, so that was nice.

Radiator was bad, so I installed a new one. Doesn't look as cool as the 460 big 4 core I had in it, but it works. Drove him today and left motor on for more than an hour straight, and no issues. I'm still driving in a manual type mode where I shift at the column until I can get him wired. I think I found a place that loves these conversions. Hope they get it. Hope to have the truck there after Performance inc.'s get together car show, car crush.
Still some wiring clean up to do. I was happy with driving him today. Wing windows spun around for some crazy air. Lol

Rich, did you see I got the emblems from the junk yard yesterday so I can make my own headliner?

I'll paint the middle black and use them on a new headliner

Got the black vinyl , just need to get some hardboard and some foam backing, then I need to pop out at least a couple of these.

Those buttons are from an XLT headliner, they also can be found on the seat back....

Nice touch to a headliner. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...eadliner+cheap

There was a tan headliner someone took out of a truck and laid in the bed at Buddy's. You can guess it was ruined terribly. I cut out the emblems and will use them in my headliner. Thanks for the link, I have read that sucker 100 times, hoping mine comes out nice.

Picture whoring for the day. I drove him probably 2 hours today at one time with no issues. That steering box from the 79, and the power steering pump from the 89 diesel together spells for some easy steering. Nice.

5 glow plugs bad is my outcome after a runaway diesel episode.....that was scary. I'll replace the glow plugs and go from there. It won't start and starts clicking as soon as the wait to start is turned on. Next step the glow plug controller if these glow plugs aren't the main issue.

Make sure you get Motorcraft glow plugs. The auto lights go out pretty quick. All it takes is a few to go out before the system stops working
