The rear wheel had the most weight but it is smooth. And there is the infamous mudflap that keeps my boards so clean.

Nice mudflaps .... Those tires look sweet, how much does it cost to have a tire recapped with that tread.?

They came from Treadwright ;https://www.treadwright.com/c-15-265-75R16.aspx They won't recap yours but sometimes you can get the original tire brand you want. All 4 with be the same brand.

They came with the holes for them and the size of studs to use. Minnesota is great snowmobiling country but they are one of the few States that totally outlaws the studs.

its a meaty looking tire but not much sipping, mud tires are always a bit squirly on ice. should be great in snow though.

cant go wrong with studs though! looking very clean by the way!

I gotcha but these have walnut shells in the tread which break out and leave thousands of little gripping pockets plus they have ground glass particles in the tread also. There has been many tests on these and of course they said they worked great so I will see this winter but I think they will be fine. I realize straight aggressive mud tires are not good on the ice.

A little snow on Tues supposedly but none so far and even the mountain is looking pretty bare. It's supposed to be +15*F for the next 4 nights.

Yes, they are the new BTB (bead to bead) caps. Nobody else puts stuff in the tread that I know of.

Look very nice. Mind telling how much they were?

I can get 35/12.5/16 Firestone Destination M/T for $1000 shipped to me, but I'll look into retreads if the prices are better after shipping. I've been reading up on these since you started posting about them earlier this year. Still on the fence, but am really starting to give them a look
