Ice on Inside of windshield

Cooler weather here in bc now and my ranger is completely ice over in the morning. I get in and the inside of the windshield is also iced completely over. I turn on the defrost and fan and go outside to scrape. Then come back inside the truck and scrape the inside of my windshield.
I have 3 big dogs inside the truck most of the day who fog up the windows so I usually open a window or put it on defrost. Also a small piece of the driver side door lining is missing . any suggestions appreciated

Welcome to FTE!

Sounds like you're in a high-humidity area - I know what that's like lol...

I've found the most common culprit for moisture on the inside of the glass is bad door seals. The seals on my '04 don't seem bad but I still get moisture so, I don't know if it's just because they don't seal as well as they should or what.

One thing I've started doing recently is I've hung a Damp-Rid bag (http://www.damprid.com/) inside the truck - I've got these all over the inside of my trailer and they work fairly well (when I remember to change them) so, I decided to try one in the truck - it's not a hugely significant difference, but it is noticeable and the bag is collecting moisture - plus the cab smells better lol...
