Hi I've got a 1999 ford e250 work van with a 5.4l ford reman motor out of a 99 expedition with less than 50,000 on rebuild but sadly the van body has seen its better days also the tranny has to. I found an 2005 f250 utility truck but has a bad motor(5.4). So what I was wondering is it even possible to take the motor out of my 99 van and put in the 05 truck. Thanks

the 05 truck has a 3 valve motor. the 99-2004 models had a 2 valve motor

the only way to make it work is for you to transfer all of the wiring from the van to the truck....and I mean everything. major PITA.
