If I fix the gears right the first time, I won't need new gears. They would take a ton of time to make new ones........
We finally got the whole thing apart yesterday, so the final pieces can get stripped in the hot tank. Hope to start painting all the parts in the next couple of days, then on to putting it all back together again!
Almost every part has been hot tanked now, and time to start painting!
The three gears are the ones that I'll have to repair. They have been repaired once before as you can see, but they were repaired with BRASS! I'll weld them up and regrind the teeth........
Next photos should be of all the PAINTED parts, then on to assembly!

Evening Charlie, and thanks! Yes, Melody is going to paint the raised lettering on the door. Should look sweet! I just can't believe what good shape this mill is in. They sure knew how to build equipment back then...
