silly question, how do we REP on the profile page?
Normally, I find a post and select the "add to <user's> reputation" button.

I got him from a post, but looking to learn....

 

You can't. But the profile page allows you to click the "Statistics" tab and "Find all posts by..." or "Find all threads by..." making it easy to find a post by someone.

And BBTW, I just use the "advanced" search function and enter the username :-)

 

John "Maximum4x4" is the only mod for that forum.

When you click on the main page for a forum (the one that lists all the threads, sticky's etc) the moderator(s) for that forum are listed on that page, right above the first sticky thread.
