240 6 cylinder

I recently restored a 240 6 cylinder in my 1970 F100. Can anyone tell me if that engine is suppose to have a clean air duct coming from the air cleaner housing?...if so, were does the duct go to?

None that I am aware of. I believe 1978 was 1st year for that.
