Thanks but I'm trying to keep the old look. I was wondering if anything from 65-79 would fit

There's been a lot of traffic about this on this site so you should find some information on the search engine (if you have better luck than I usually do). Look for posts by daveengelson, among others. The general feeling is that the seat tracks are a direct bolt in between '61 and '79. If you want later seats than that, you'll have to use the '60s seat tracks while redrilling the seat mounts to the tracks. It is said that the seats got wider starting in '67, and some people had issues with the seat back fouling on the door arm rest. There is also the possibility of mix and match, wherein you use a seat base from one year, and the seat back from another. Lots of options. Hope this helps!

61 to 72 direct bolt in. 73 to 79 use the 64 seat tracks for a direct bolt in 80 to 96 use 64 seat tracks for a direct bolt in.

Just note if you have arm rests they will prevent 67 up seat from leaning forward with out the doors open.

I'm trying to think of when I would lean the seat forward without the doors open.....Oh maybe both doors? I could see that being a hassle some times maybe. I figured it out.

I was wondering that myself.

I know that if I am in the seat its not coming forward.
