Hi, I am a newbie to this forum, and to forums in general in fact and I have two questions to ask. I recently purchased a 2002 Sport Trac in great shape and running well! It has the hard, two piece Tonneau cover on the back which leads me to...question #1). I did not get any information regarding the keyless entry code for the door and the dealer I got it from didn't know anything about either. Where can I find the code? Is it not on a sticker somewhere? I am also interested in finding a ladder/lumber rack that I can use occasionally but, the truck has a hard, two piece Tonneau cover over the bed. Which leads me to Question #2) Where can I find a ladder rack that fits the Sport Trac without spending 400 to 500 dollars? I have seen a couple that are labeled as "Universal" and I was told by the owner of one of those that I could probably "C" clamp it to bed rail for temporary jobs. This sounds like a good idea and might work but, I would have to drill holes in the sidewalls of the bed liner to gain access to the rails in order to secure the clamps. Does anyone have any ides...thoughts...suggestion...answers...please?!? ! Thanks!

 

I have been on the forums for a while, but am looking at a Sport Track myself, downsizing from full size trucks. I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't thing the composite bed would support a ladder rack well. Maybe someone on here with more experience can give their opinion.
