Wheels polished and waxed
Took her for a spin. New rotors eliminated a lot of vibration. I still have a little bit which I believe is the rear rotors. I will probably deal with those in the spring unless they get really bad. Re-torqued my lug nuts when I got back and took a few more photos.
Now hopefully I get to go to camp this weekend

I have a little bit of tire vibration. Front tires cupped. Rotation helped. Still alittle bit at highway speed. I could have them re-balanced if I find the time.
What I still feel is some pulsation in the brake pedal. I haven't touched the rear brakes on this truck in 3 years. They are whatever was on there when I bought it. The fronts have warped on me twice, so it became my assumption that they will always be the problem.
Its a work in progress. the new rotors definitely are an improvement. The fronts were warped without question.

Minor updates. Brakes did great on the F250. New rotors are definatley worth it so far. Had a really nice weekend in the mountains.
Got the quad all cleaned up last weekend. It desperately needed it.
Workbench finally positioned. The vice is bolted in place I don't knock it off onto my tows. I installed a nice new LED fixture above it which makes a HUGE difference in visability.
Next it was onto the compressor. I wanted to get my hose reel installed. The fittings sure get expensive quick, but it is worth every penny not to have the stupid air hose in a tangled mess on the floor.
I do need to move the air filter with a long nipple. The current position gives me a humming/whistling sound when I use air.
I also picked up the little spot sand blaster gun at HF. I want to use it on the Ranger leaf springs. Tried it out on scrap steel I had. Seems to do a nice job for $20 + media. This is with 40/70 glass beads. These pictures were taken without the flash.
Finally, been working on my dad's Ranger. We got the frame rust repaired over memorial day weekend. Finally had a chance to pull the bed off and paint the frame. This is 2 coats of Chassis Saver.
Last night I got the schutz gun out coated the frame and under carriage with bar and chain oil.
He is coming down tonight and we are going to put it back together and send him on his way all ready for winter.
Next up... wife's drum brakes, fog light kit, and snow tires. Everything is in the garage just waiting to be installed.

Holy ****!!!! That had to be a pretty pleasant suprise.
I don't have any photos at the moment, but I will give a few minor updates... I have been swamped at work.
Installed factory fog lights and new rear drum brakes in the wife's car. She needs her new tires mounted, the vehicle oil undercoated, and the oil changed. Tranny and diff fluid soon after.
The F250 has been oil undercoated after its Ziebart touch up. I am very happy with how it turned out. I want to do the door seal mod from the front doors as i am slowly developing some rattles. New brake rotors are great. Probably going to need rear rotors in the spring. Still need to tackle the manifolds. Probably not going to get to that until spring either.
On the Ranger, I cut off the retainer hold the broken part of my leaf spring on as it was rattling and banging around. I need to get the new springs cleaned up so I can install them. I picked up a quart of Slip Plate on Tuesday to coat the springs. I need to get center bolts, bushings, and u-bolts. I will probably order that stuff on Black Friday in hopes of find better prices and some extra cash back. The Ranger also needs an oil change.
As for the garage, I had to put a new longer nipple in the air setup before the filter as they way I had it was causing whistling. And the air filter has actually trapped water which makes me happy. I have to modify my grinder stand a bit to accomate my grinder. I got some plate, I just need to cut and drill it.
Finally, the quad needs new heated grips and a battery for winter fun.
So for the lack of pics, I'll try better next time

Small update....
Wife's car got fog lights, snow tires, and new rear brake shoes installed. She is set for the winter.
The broken Ranger leaf is causing the truck to sag more and more. Last night I finally had some time to tear on of the "new" Explorer springs apart and get all the right pieces. I had to order the front bushings, but a local spring shop has everything else that I can pick up tomorrow. I ordered U-bolts from Ruff Stuff Specialties and they are BEEFY. Also got a quart of Slip Plate to coat the springs.
When I bought them:
Center bolt cut off:
Leafs had steel isolators between them:
Here is what was left of the slider pads:
Here is the whole thing disassembled:
Now that one is apart, I have the rest of the parts ordered. I might tear the other one apart tonight. When it warms up Saturday or Sunday, I am going to sand blast the leafs and then sand them a bit to smooth them out before applying Slip Plate. Might be able to get them installed over the Christmas weekend.

I'll be very happy because the sag is on the drivers side. It makes me look like I weigh in at around 400 lbs with how much the rear corner leans. lol
I will be very happy that I don't have to be so gentle on bumps. I am also really excited to see how the new ones ride in comparison. My springs were suppose to be 750 or 800 lbs. These Explorer ones are rated for 1250 lbs. Hopefully it won't ride like the axle is welded to the frame...
