It was good until about 2, when I got a call saying that my dad was taken from the nursing home to the ED of the hospital that it is attached to. My mom is still out of commission for going out until she is finished with her IV antibiotics. So I had to leave work to go to the hospital to sign all of the consent forms for him to be treated, etc. Now I was told that he had an elevated white blood cell count and it ended up being that the nurses in the home were concerned with the excess blood and low amount of urine that he was producing. For crying out loud, the guy just had surgery 24 hours earlier to have a couple of ureathal stents removed. So I spent about 4.5 hours in the ED with him until all of the results were back from the tests and he was taken back to his room in the home. Needless to say, I am mentally wiped out tonight so I am not sure how long I will be on here.
Morning Pat, turning out to be a nice day here. Temps will be in the mid 70's and sunny. Got some rain heading this way for tomorrow and Saturday, but it will not be a complete washout.
