Son of a B**** your right...that makes sense it was the same wheel on the older F150's the page i got it from said 08 but i guess it was wrong. Let me look for my disk today and i will pull the diagrams from the disk rather than google becasue she lies sometimes lol. Plus i can pull connector pin outs as well.

so from what i have read the airbag will still function with one plug from our trucks however there is no real way to test it without detonating one form the trucks electrical system and i do not feel like testing it out lol.

as far as the cruis controls it looks fairly straight forward still as far as pin outs however i dont see resistances on the F150 diagram so i am going to see if my disk has the diagrams and if not i will test them with my multimeter in work tomorrow morning.

Ok so i found my disk and here is the cruise control diagram for the F150 06 model which is the same from 04-08. the resistances are off slightly so there will be some rework involved in the switches to get them to work with the F250 wiring. Nothing major just some resistor changes.

F150 (04-08):

As you can see here are the differences, i will try and reuse the 99-04 F250 resistors in my rework. Also these values are in Ohms, for the one i cannot see via the diagrams i will verify with a multimeter in the morning.

...................F150..........F250

On...............2200..........unsure
Off..............unsure........unsure
Resume........1210..........2200
Set..............600............680
Coast...........300............120

I have not mated it yet however from resting it about 6" away if appears that once i remove the cup holder the slant in the front matches the slant in the dash perfectly so it should work like a charm aside from mounting it the the floor but i have an idea for that already. Forgive me for being slow, now that summe ris here and school go out last Friday i have hoodles of time on my hands now to work on the truck lol I shoul dbe picking up in progress this week my mind and creativity is nto focused on school and work anymore just work lol so i have some spare space in my head lol.

Also guys I stripped the column last night of all the parts for the shifter since i will not be using it anymore.

Next on the list is getting the cruise buttons working and making an adapter place for the Column shroud which i can do with my 3D printer.

From there i will be mounting the laser etched name plate and LEDs, moving the electronics to the glove box, test out the accessories and then creating the cluster and mounting the Expy console and shifter.

Hey Matt, on the original gauge cluster, how many bulbs are there for the "illumination" only not all the idiot lights. If I remember right it is 6 bulbs. I'm getting ready to pull my dash and am going to put in LED's along with the air pressure gauge. Just waiting on gauge from Riffraff and some stuff from OTRATTW to arrive then good to go and will hit you up with the headlight wiring for the switches. Thanks bud.

Can't wait man! I believe it is six bulbs I can't remember exactly off the top of my head. I would check out Jason's webpage he swapped to LEDs I will check in a sec.

Edit: it is indeed 6 bulbs what LEDs are you getting he tested two different kinds with very different results.

Thanks Matt. I was going to go with these from SUPERBRIGHTLEDS. Have not yet bought them yet as I wasn't sure if they were a good choice or not.
Not sure what is up with me, but having a hard time finding Jason's page.

I believe that's what he used here is a link to his page for you, its under dash LEDs. There are some dark spots but its much better than his first choice of LEDs he used.

Were you ever able to verify the resistances for the cruise? I know you have a full-blown build going on so this might be the least of your worries right now haha!

Haha no worries man, I got my multimeter out and the switches just have to do it. I will do it tonight, now that i have the pin out for the connector i know which wires to probe vs guessing and checking lol.
