Ok, so it's more of a standing on the bedrails shot than a hood shot but this is roughly half the field in Vale, Oregons attempt to break the world record for longest pickup parade, unofficial count 438. I was parked next to a 20's model Ford.

Was anybody on the side of the road, or was everybody in the parade? Lol! 438 is damn near the town!

We had someone from California come up. Some people were from Idaho. The railroad put in a pickup. Both of mine that are mobile were in it, grandpa drove one. My one brother couldn't get any of his 3 in but the yougest brother got his licenced one in. Mom and dad couldn't because of work and the rodeo. One guy I know had 15 that could have been in but couldn't find drivers for them. There were not many people along the route though.

This past winter, but I forgot to post it here. Ol Big Red saved me when my dd 4x4 had issues. Driving on ice with 38s was a little nerve racking!

Nice to see you out in Blue Rich!

I know I have posted pictures of my POV on the Bay Bridge but this time there's a story.

I was traveling West bound on the number two lane, there was a Prius in the number one right beside me. You can see the Prius in the shot as he moved ahead of me. Moments before I shot this photo a motorcyclist split our lanes (Legal here in California). The rider looked over his right shoulder just as he past the both of us and gave me the thumbs up. Then he looked over his left shoulder at the Prius and gave that poor guy the thumbs down.

OK, not a very scenic shot but my poor truck has been looking at the same POV for a long time now.

Hopefully I'll be able to get some real shots this summer once everything is all put together.
