I have a 2003 F350 crew cab and looking into mountin a confer luggage rack on the roof. Has anyone ever used a explorer or expedition rail and mounted it to the roof. Reason is confer builds an adapter that fits those rails. Also does anyone know why the roof has the silicone type material on the outer rib of the roof.
