I remember a few months ago, a gentleman posted on this board that he was with a Ford dealership in Rochester NY that was selling vehicles at invoice price. I can't remember his user name, but I'm ready to buy an '03 Expedition and I would appreciate it if this gentleman could contact me.

No dealer should be discussing their prices on this site because no dealership has paid for the privilege. Companies are not allowed to discuss their pricing and products on this site unless they sponsor the site. Chances are the post was deleted.

Ken, It wasn't deleted. That was when 1956MarkII posted a poll about whether or not people would buy cars over the internet and then fly out to New York to pick them up and drive them home if the price was right. Dont' remember the price exactly but it was mentioned. Seems to me I remember him saying he asked you if he could poll about that and you ok'd it. That's the way I remember it anyway.

 

I've had a discussion with Ken about this, and the FTE guidelines make it clear that only paying sponsors can do business with members on this site. I'll continue to answer questions, but I would appreciate it if everyone would refrain from asking me for price quotes, or anything that could be mistaken for doing business.
