Good Sunday to all.
Hope you're having a enjoyable weekend. I managed to get a bit of cleaning & detailing on the F Friday before the bottom fell out. Thomas: The black mold on the lower white body molding laughed at the Bleach-White till I added some 320grit sandpaper to the mix. Still took several hours to do all what, total 14ft? That and various other "green" growing junk in the nooks & crannies.
Saturday Terri twisted my arm into buying a new cell. Picked up a Samsung GSIII. She's pretty much a Apple... um... snob & I gave in to her... um... nagging over my old one's every bug. The GSIII is pretty nice & a bit faster than my 3+ year old one.
Digging the cool weather although I know its just a precursor to the cold that's coming down the pike. But it will make the bush-hogging of the yard this week easier.
What y'all up to?

Spent the weekend tinkering with the Expedition. Lowered the front a little bit, removed the air intake silencer, did the Gott's mod, painted the grill, and then cleaned up the shop. Very relaxing weekend for once.....
I believe DBone has a GS4 and likes it pretty well. I'm sporting a Motorola Razr Maxx HD and I really don't care for it. I like the Android system, but I prefer the iPhone. This Motorola hoses up all the time and drives me crazy. It's a constant battle closing apps to preserve usable memory....

Changed the mechanical fuel pump on my 76 today, managed to strip out one of the bolts holding the pump to the block. Not sure what the hell i'm going to do next, but I'm not giving up.
Pulling the power steering and a/c brackets off when I get a chance to see if i can't salvage the situation.

So I've got this buddy who's going through an ugly divorce...
Any-hoo he's got this 84 Fireturd... um... Firebird (Trans-Am) he's had since new. Its his last vehicle since the the wife had the city tow his other two trucks to who-knows-where. No job, no lawyer, living in a motel on unemployment & doing day labor while applying everywhere.
Problem is the bird' has a leaky fuel pump & he's been driving it for weeks like that. He got a pump & I was supposed to install it last weekend but it didn't work out. Wound up on my back for the biggest part of yesterday scraping the hardest, thickest gasket ever put on an engine with two fingers & a razor blade. Finally got out the Dremel and assorted attached implements of destruction to get it clean enough so he didn't trade fuel leak for oil leak.
Just glad he didn't burn down before he got here & it ran after I finished.
