That sounds like a lose lose proposition. Makes it so you are punished when you try to better yourself.

 

She will be a receptionist with alot less stuff to do compared to what we do in my office Steve. And it is pretty much bankers hours. Monday through Friday 8-5. So there are other perks like the better schedule. No nights at all for her. As for the shift differential that is paid by the university it is only paid to people that work either 4-12 or 12-8. pretty much second and third shifts.

 

I guess she will just have to prove herself again.

 

That she will Steve. That is one of the reasons they do that. They need to make sure she is a good fit for the office she is going to.

No she wasnt Steve. She was not well liked by almost my entire dept.

 

I guess she will have to be on her best behavior or they can get rid of her. Do you think they will send her back to your department?

 

I doubt they will Steve. She has had some issues in my department. Add to that they are getting ready to start looking for her replacement in the next week or two.

That it will be Steve. She told others in my department she was leaving but never even bothered to tell me she was leaving or that today was her last day.

I dont think she liked me from the first day she started Steve. I think she resented the fact someone younger then her had more seniority, and was able to do the job better, and faster then her.

 

In my case I am older than most everybody I work with.. I think there is only one guy older in my area.

 

For me I am probably the youngest person in my dispatch center. Even my friend that works on another shift is a about 2 years older then me.

 

I was that way a long time ago.
