Found a tranny and t-case... gonna work?

I bought tranny lines and when I went to change them out I seen a crack in the tranny. The tranny does not go into second gear, and does not stop in park. I had plans on sending it out to rebuild, but in that condition want to swap out for something that can be rebuilt. The transfer is locked in 4x4. Can do 4hi and 4lo and neutral... no 2hi so figured it would be best to find one with the tranny.

So that's a picture of YOUR NP205???
I think the tranny you located is a BW-1356 from 88-91 trucks and 87-96 Broncos..http://www.midwesttrans.com/1356.html
... it's a chain drive. Keep looking. Personally I'd rebuild the 205.. it's gear driven and better than the BW1356.
Dunno about the trans but EOAP is a 1990 engineering number.
Good luck.

Thats a pic of the c6 transmission case on the bottom. Hard to actually see the crack from this angle and pic. While replacing the drivers side header today it looked like a large chunk of it was going to fall off... but the PO did a good job with the silicon haha.
I remember seeing threads about transmissions and the fitment issue between different years. Trying to find a tranny to toss in... going to take my time and try to find a good deal on a motor with tranny and t-case included. Maybe if I see a 460 ill try to do the convertion. Wish my tranny case was not busted, could skip this process and start working on more interesting parts.

Btw, C6s are relatively cheap and the NP205 is a desirable T-case.

Really? Well that could change my direction... I could drop the trans myself I'm sure. Getting into the bed of a truck if I got another strong back around I could manage to take it to be overhauled. I guess I would take it to Standard Welding in Lorain to have it welded. I considered a busted housing to be game over for my C6. There was someone near Sandusky rebuilding these. I'll have to ask him if he does T-case's as well.
You guys really save a noob some $. I was gonna buy one and have it rebuilt. I mean, id like to have a couple of trannies about... but in time.
I actually might have a buddy perfect for the job. Lil guy loves beer... I bet for a case he would take care of that crack/break. Then all I need is a modulator line since I tapped into Jeff's BG for the cooler lines already.

My problem lies in the inexperience I have at matching one up to what I have. And the whole time I just was not considering the case can be repaired, then tranny and t-case rebuilt.
