SO MY 1977 F150 HAS A ROD KNOCK AND ITS A 351C SO I WANNA SWAP IT WITH A 460. I HAVE A C6 3 SPEED AUTO TRANY. WILL I HAVE TO DO SOME CRAZY MODIFICATIONS.? WILL IT JUST SLIP IN? DIFFERENT MOTOR MOUNTS NEW BELL HOUSIN TRANNY MATCH UP? HELP ME..

This is the 1980-1986 forum. '77 and '89 are both other forums.
I can tell you that a Cleavland block does not have the Lima bellhousing pattern. (is it a 351M?)
C6 has an integral bell.
1989 460 is fuel injected, so none of that is going to work without the proper computer and wiring harness.
If you DO have an 'M' you could get a 460 carburetor adapter plate from Price Motorsport. (CS460-EFI), and a 4bbl carb + low pressure electric fuel pump.
You will still have to change the engine perches on the crossmember and figure out an exhaust, radiator, engine wiring harness etc...
It would be much easier to replace/repair the 351 you already have.
