Hey Mike, those fender liners are supposed to be cut the way they are. I will make a couple cuts for the hitch brackets and reinstall them tomorrow.

he definitely had them in wrong, I'll fix it up tomorrow. I have some plastic drive rivots that I can put in place of the little christmas trees that were there. Little trimming and it should go in correctly.

then I am going to install cb and antenna, and maybe even get the steam cleanere out and try to clean up the inside.

Well we are moved in and everything is hooked up now just have to wait for washer dryer and stove. Then have Rich back over to button those up. We should be good.

Also blew the front end up on the truck this weekend so Mike I may have to employ you and Rich and whoever else wants to help in figuring out what exactly happened. (picture to come tonight)

When you say, "blew the front end up," what does that mean? You were driving along innocently and there was a hill that looked like a good one to jump, so you thought you'd jump it and then the landing was off?

Well the truck was making those grinding noises when we brought it to the GTG and thought it was just a ujoint. Drove it from Eagle to the new place and only way to get it to stop grinding was throw the tcase into 4high. when i got to the house the drivers side inner/outer shaft have a ton of play and all oil is leaking out of the housing around the shaft. Also on the passenger side i have the grease fitting rubbing on the ujoint and slight movement. I have no ideas! Anybody?

i would say the bearing that the stub shaft rides in in the knuckle is toast, therefore letting the axleshaft move around too much taking out the inner seal (and probably hub). that bearing is a horrible design... it needs to be much larger axially. i did a couple of those in my red truck, as well as had that issue take out one of my Warn premium hubs (which is when the grinding got real bad). i had the manual tcase and hubs, and locking the hubs helped my limp while it was real bad.
