hope everyone had a good weekend. took the afternoon off friday and went up to Big Air Motocross in newaygo to put some laps in. Fox Shawmut Hills was hosting a free practice day there, so a buddy truckpooled with me and i figure it cost each of us about $15 for the day, which is dirt cheap. felt great to ride and man and machine all came home in one piece, so thats a good day in itself.

had aspirations to do all this work on the trailer saturday... long story short that didn't happen. lazy day. ah well.

did manage to do some work on the trailer yesterday. we are camping next weekend with some friends at the dunes so i am rampantly trying to finish this four-year project in time. got half of the ceiling hung. need to do the other half and trim it all out but here's what we accomplished:

Well we got one more load down to the new house from TC. Maybe one more truck load from there and we should be done. Then 3 bedrooms and a dinning room to move from Lansing still.

On a side note i will never rent an enclosed trailer from Uhaul again. no matter if it was empty or loaded it would not pull straight. It fishtailed all the way from TC. Not a good trip.

On a good note smoker is now at the homestead so i should be able to whip up some smoked goodies for whenever we all get together next.

 

Fixed that for ya... lol. The last time I rented one of u-hauls car trailers I went trailer shopping the next week. Tongue was bent, slightest moment of the wheel caused all sorts of sway. It was ugly...

 

Ya exact same problem with this one. Not a good 3 hour drive.

Ha ya we will see I don't think it is a good idea for us to go being it our first anniversary I think she will not be too happy in a tent.

 

Uhaul trailers make me thirsty.

 

Sorry our little trailer from work was gone. Maybe next trip it'll be available.

That would make for a long drive.

 

Oh next trip should just be the truck no trailer needed. Thats no problem as it probably cost less to rent up there and drop in Wayland then it would have to pull north and south.

 

No $$ to rent when I can take the trailer for free.

 

Im talking gas lol both of our trucks are guzzlers.
