Ordered the Ford liners and weather tech flaps. Liners definitely going on. Wait to see the flaps before I decide for sure. Figure easier to hose down liners like said earlier. Flaps, just not sure about the build up they will get. Does it seem to keep the truck cleaner much?

 

Does anybody have the part number for the Weather tech flaps front and rear for 2013 screw 4x4.

 

I have the rugged liners on mine. I occasionally spray between the liner and the wheel well when I'm washing the truck to see if anything come out. Our winters here aren't severe but they salt like crazy when we do see snow. I like the noise reduction from rocks being thrown by the tires, the overall protection they offer and I like the look.

It does keep a lot of crap from getting at the back of the truck and trailer. As far as the liners, I wash my truck twice a week or more in the winter. Everything looks good so far behind them, but it's only been one season.

 

I used their "No-drill" flaps. This is what fit my truck.

far as washing twice a week, not here, can go below freezing for month straight. Did below zero for entire week last year. Sure I can pull it inside now, but last truck stayed outside 12 years. This one will only come in occasionally for a quick wash and probably never over night.

 

I don't think it went above freezing here last winter, which isn't normal anymore. My truck's sit out all year, that stuff's never bothered me. I take them to the car wash, and they're pretty dry by the time I'm home.

 

Ever have a door freeze shut and pull on that poor rubber seal? See your point, but hate whistling doors on the highway.

 

Lol.. Yes I have. It sucks too! I always figured I got 4 doors, I'll get in one of them. I really hate salt on my truck, and here they use the crap out of it.

 

Wrestled with one for little over an hour in 30 degree driveway today. Hoping other side is easier now that I got one figured out. Lip in front of frame just didn't look right and whole thing was shifted a little, like needed to be up higher in wheel well. Anyways bolts lined up and went in fine, so must be right.

 

Second one took 20 minutes in heated garage with liner warmed up to 70 overnight. Fell right into position with tire still on.

 

Picked up a set of the Weather Tech mud flaps. Fronts when on like a breeze. Back ones not so much like a breeze, more like a fart. Anyone with the oem wheel well liners will have to get a little creative if the liners are already installed.
There is an interference issue with the fender brace at the bottom. I solved it by losing the ford bolt with threaded clip and swapped in a standard 1"x 1/4" stainless machine screw with nyloc fastener. The clearance problem is with the attached washer on the oem fastener.

 

Good to know. I am waiting for my weather tech to arrive and noticed their site didn't list a set for the rear with the factory liners. I assumed because too much was going on with that lower bolt and bracket.

 

I didn't have to remove the liner, but it was a challenge with a set of long needle nose pliers to get the nut on the two bottom bolts. If you are going to be installing both liners and mud flaps, do they tug end flaps first.
The clearance problem is with the large fender washer on the lower bracket bolt.
The easiest move was just the replace it.
