Is it worth dumping $$ into my '95 F250?

Shocks (front and rear),Front tires, Balljoints etc, front tires, brakes all around and front rotors, fuel tank (leaking at the seam and also front take won't take anymore fuel? I've never messed with gas tank stuff).. She has 250k on it now. Runs, but kinda rough. I can't get the old plugs out, they are rusted pretty good and I am too afraid to snap one. Valve cover gasket on the right side is easy to get to, but the left..forget about it, it leaks a little not much tho I maybe add a quart a month. I think she could use a new radiator, the front fins are kind all banged up. Heater only works on high. 5.8 runs good but needs plugs. Has heavy duty leafs in back and axle, 2wd I haul 2yards of crushed stone in the back with no problems, leafs don't even touch the helpers. I got a green and red wire that are burned up and not connected to anything, they come off the black box on the left side of the motor.

250k, you think it's worthing dumping all that money into it? it's only 2wd also. I can get a '92 F150 4x4 with no major issues like mine for $900, and a '95 with a plow for $1500. I don't know if I should just scrap mine or part it out or keep running her, or time for another truck. How much you think all that would cost me? I was thinking a couple grand. Brakes, shocks I can do. I don't know, someone chime in on this!!

if you kept up on it as it wore,it would be easy.you just put another 100-200 here and there and it's cheaper than a car payment.
now with a quarter million miles, and in need of so much, like you see,it's actually cheaper to "upgrade" to a same basic year range truck with possibly less miles and in far better shape.
well.maybe lol.your in MASS.we know how hard it is up here in New England to find something old not all rusted out that's more than 10-15 yrs old.but anyway, you'll likely end up with more truck by buying else rather than fixing yours.

this decision is always easy as long as you can step back and look at what your old truck is currently as objectively as you can.
it looks like your doing a good job of it,hence this thread.so i think your thought process is wise when you consider folding and get dealt a fresh hand.

Keep in mind that anytime you change vehicles, you're swapping a set of known problems for a set of unknown problems. But, I'd say a rust belt vehicle that needs lots of work isn't worth much more than scrap value. I'd be leery of a plow truck, too--unless you want to make money with it and put lots of money into that one. They're usually heavily abused, especially the electrical, front suspension and transmission/4x4.
