new to truck pulling
im new to truck pulling and trying to work my way in. one thing i was thinking of traction bars. when not in the truck pull my truck will be towing trailers. i heard that traction bars are bad when towing traiters but i thought if they help in the truck pull shouldnt they help when towing other things? if anyone can clarify this for me and maybe some other advice for getting started that would be great

traction bars are for controlling axle wrap/hop.
no wrap= no hop= tires stay down= more power down=farther down the track.
get it?
ive never heard of bad things coming from towing with traction bars. some of the strongest trucks in the country are mild pullers that tow all the time. heck look at some of the guys from the Diesel Power Challenge. they all are hooked to a sled and are Daily Drivers/tow-ers
