Here are a few update photos. Not a ton to report until next weekend. The 1/0 Gauge power and ground wiring is being run throughout the truck. I used Shok Industries cable because it has a pretty good strand count and well...lets face it, I got a great deal on it too! Ha!
Notice how my installer is careful to secure the ends of the cables with proper connectors and he covers the cables to protect them. He terminates the shielding with heat shrink wrap:
My JL Audio XD600/1 is placed in the slot behind the soon-to-be-installed subwoofer where the spare tire used to be:
Your write up is awesome. Love the ex. Keep it coming
Cary at CT Performance did my EX as well and it is night and day better than factory. I chose to put on factory 20's to keep the factory look but love the ones you used. Now it's time to install all the sound deadening in mine.
We're on the north side, not far from Altamonte. My installer is in the city...more on the Orange Ave area.
I'm sensing the need for a Florida get-together here! Tampa here, but often run up to MCO or my office in Maitland. I want to see this truck when it gets done. Wife and I were just talking this weekend about a possible make-over for mine!
sorry if you already answered this earlier. What are you going to have wired to the 6 switches? I love the look but I dont want to have 4 dead switches haha if I do it. Also, what do the two guages show?

I'd be game for something like this once I get my excursion up and running here soon!
OK Stopped by the installer's shop today and snapped some pics! This install is soo intense! I think he will be wrapping it up over the next two-three weeks, but it's soo much wiring! Have a look!
Can someone help me out and give me the dimensions(in inches and cm) for the factory spare tire mounted on their steel spare wheel? My installer wants the subwoofer box to fit in the factory spot. Thanks for your help fellas/ladies!
