That is what I said Adam. NY State declared the area a disaster zone and has sent resources in to assist with clean up. I know that a few area fire departments sent crews down on Thursday to help and I am in the Rochester area.

So far so good here in the Flood City....

 

Actually Bill, Last night when we were talking about Bloomsburgh, all I could think about is how it floods there all the time.

 

I'm trying to think which year it was - it was recent though, maybe 2009 or 2010 - in the fall the entire fairground there was under water. They've seen their share too.

 

I can't remember exactly, but I do remember it was recent.

 

Might have been '11 - because the fairground was so dusty last year, worse than normal. My arm got worn out on judging day using my duster to keep the truck clean!

And all this talk of flooding, and I just saw a flood watch alert go by on my phone for the area. Nice.

Gonna get my lunchtime run on, be back in a bit.
