Sounds like you're coming up to speed quickly. The electrical connector for the EBPV is under the intake side of the turbo. It's a little 2 wire weatherpack connector. Unplug it and don't look back. If you have the turbo off the truck down the road you can eliminate it all together and open up the exhaust a little more. It doesn't hurt anything to leave it in there, but it will breathe a tad better without it.

You dont delete it. You simply vent it into the atmosphere that way if you have an intercooler it wont be circulating oil inside your intercooler.

Ford didnt install factory intercoolers until the e99 super duty and beyond.
Speaking of which if you wish to install an intercooler for cheap the E99 setup will swap over and work on our trucks.
Look in the tech/mod links sticky to find some write-ups.

Your truck will not have an intercooler unless a previous owner installed one.

I'll look over at the write-ups and see what I can do here pretty soon.

Here's another link that has a bunch of good links in it. Definitely check out Steve Baz's page while your looking in there.

Small update:
1) unplugged EBPV
2) changed oil, fuel filter (bowl was clean and green)
3) blow-by test passed!
4) vacuum line is trashed so I gotta replace that asap
5) driving it everywhere and enjoying the heck out of it

By the way, does anyone know the part # or where to get that vacuum line that Travis was talking about? Mine is dry rotted all to crap. I have searched, but don't seem tofind that one so I guess I just make my own? I noticed it goes down into the blower motor, so I wonder how much I'll have to take apart to get to it. I may just go ahead and replace blower motor, resistor, and the vacuum line. It blows kinda weak.

If you pull the loom open and pull a little bit of that white line out, I bet it looks like brand new. If you have to, open the loom up a little further and cut a small length of the hose out to make a piece to splice in at the blend door actuator. Then use 1/8" vacuum line to piece it all back together. Every one of them that I have done, the line looks like new inside the loom, even if it is all rotted apart outside of there. Apparently it doesn't take well to the weather.
