Brake Pedal spring

Where does the long end of the spring hook onto? I know the small end goes on the pin in the pedal.

Brake Pedal spring

Nathan - stock location - it hooks to a loop on the cover plate (between the block and the bellhousing) just about horizontal with the brake linkage. It looks like an extra bolt hole, but protrudes past the bell.

You're lucky! I had to crawl under trucks that had settled into the dirt at a local junk yard to find one that still had the springs connected when I rebuilt mine.

Thanks. I thought it hooked there. It's just I don't have an engine to hook it on.
