it may be low on freon.if it is,the low pressure switch keeps the compressor from getting power and self destructing.
to test it,of course after making sure the fuse is good lol,check for power at the low pressure switch.it's that plug you see up high over on the pass side.unplug that,test for power.if you find power on one side of the plug,use a jump wire to connect the two pins while watching the compressors clutch.if you see it engage,then she probably just needs a charge.don't keep the jump wire in there for any length of time unless your adding freon.jumping that and making the compressor spin will make her drink.
