Radiator Transmission Connection Leak

Radiator Transmission Connection Leak
I just changed out my radiator and thermostat on my 1990 Ford Aerostar, 4.0L and mostly the job went very well. Just one question area:
1. Where the Transmission Lines go into the radiator they use a brass connector. The radiator box said not to tighten the brass connectors tighter than 10lbs torque. I did so. But both are slightly leaking tran fluid. Not a lot. I took them off and cleaned them and put them back in and same results. I seem to remember something about brass connectors will expand from the heat and probably seal in a short time. Any thoughts on this or how to correct?
Thanks,
John
