It was at an auction. No coe's. A couple of monkey faces... Probably 40 old semi's. And 40 old cars. The monkey faces were in really bad shape. Someone bought to fix. Not to get crushed. Half the cars were getting scrapped though... My dad bought a 4600? Cheby... You guys wanna see pics?

Not a build thread... I have been mostly hanging around the 1947 and older area. I have been working on my grandfather's 1946 1/2 ton since Oct. 2011. Still got a ways to go before I'm finished. I will do some work on this truck, but full force will not be till the 46 is roadworthy. My idea with this truck is some similar to mechmagcn's 53 diesel. (BTW this will be post 400!!!) Now on to some pics.

Much better shape than what I started with. Thanks for the pictures.
What year plate registration is stuck to the back bed? Ought to be interesting to see when it was last on the road.

Good luck with the project...looks like a worthy new family member, and better yet...you got to pick your family!

Tom
The plate is from 1974 - I was born in 1973... So I guess I could have passed it on the road.
