Dipsick flange write-up

Anyone have one?

I've got a bad leak at the flange where the dipstick enters the side of my oil pan. Definitely need to replace the o-ring. It seems like a relatively straight forward job but I'd be a lot more comfortable if I saw a write-up first.

Seems to be a matter of remove dipstick tube, prevent flange from falling into pan at all costs, remove nut, remove old o-ring, install new o-ring, tighten nut, reinsert dipstick tube?

Planning on sourcing all parts through Bob @ Diesel O-rings

Thanks.

Some one had a link up before. Have you tried the search function?

Bob has the instructions at his website, if I remember correctly. They also come with the kit from Bob.

FTE search isn't too great and google didn't have the answers I wanted.
