Driveshaft question

im doing a idi swap in my truck and using a c6. but it has the longer tailshaft with a slip yoke, vs the c6 that came out with a short tailshaft and bolted yoke.

does anyone know if theres a truck i can pull a shaft from? 1 piece, i dont mind shorting it..

has dana 60 rear, long bed 2wd.

i hear people going to junkyards and getting shafts from other trucks and getting a close fit

This dealer I work at has no micro-fiche machine so I can't look to make sure. Bill can back me on this. The way I remember it the yoke style was in heavy duty stuff up to 1973 or 1974. I think all 4x2 pickups got a slip yoke after that. Find yourself a 1975 and up F250 or F350 Dent (dana) with C6 and the comparable wheelbase. It should work. Wait for Bill to back me up before buying something sight unseen.
