Well, got home today from my extended long weekend. Windy as heck puling my trailer back from the lake. Truck was struggling to maintain 105 on the highway. It's not a heavy trailer, around 2500 kg even with the tanks full. I tells ya, if I was towing all the time, I would be driving something newer. Ah well, I don't currently have the $40,000 laying around that a new truck would cost me, so I guess I'll keep running this old one.
Probably better shave today, I'm back at my desk tomorrow.
Looks like rain this week for Calgary. We sure could use it, but at this time of year, it tends to get out of hand. Hope nobody gets flooded out. I live on a hill, but others aren't so lucky.

Even one of the newfangled egoboost motors would do a lot better than my tired old gal. Truth be told, without the wind, it'll pull that small trailer around just fine. Just gets mighty tiresome sitting at 3500 rpm for two hours straight, even though the motor doesn't seem to mind. I've hauled that same load through the meanest mountain passed that Washington or British Columbia have to offer, and it's done respectably.
I just like to complain.
