Wouldn't it be great if you floored it and got better gas mileage and better engine wear?

Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust, Sunroof, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds .

Check out my Gallery for a look-see.

Then theres:
99' Mustang GT 4.6L
88' F-250 Superduty 4x4 351/c6
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 with a
3 spd column shifter. Top speed is 65mph, Go Baby Go!

Oh no, didn't mean it that way. I thought it was a great statement and I feel the same way. I love to floor it and I only have a 300 six. Once I drove a 351 and it is REALLY FUN to push that pedal. Interesting thing is I am getting 17.5 mpg out of my six pushing that pedal a lot. Don't know what kind of mileage this thing is capable of because it seems such a waste to drive it with a light foot that I can't bring myself to do it.

Time spent behind the wheel of a Ford is not deducted from ones lifespan.
