steering issues

i have a 94 f150 reg cab long bed 300 6 5 speed with 209000 on er ibwas driving the other day about 35 mph and all of the sudden it yanked to the left and once i pulled it back it didnt do it again for bout a mile or so and it did it to the right so i drained some fluid and added a lil lucas power steerin additive and has only done it 2 times in the last 3 days or so any ideas ? i was told it was the spool valve sticking in the pump and just a lil more info truck has f250 leafs in the rear and a 3 inch lift in the front running 31x10.50x15 i was thinking of just slammin a new pump in it to see what happens

If its jerking direction I doubt you have a pump issue check your steering components. For what it is worth I personally would never put another C-II back on mine went with changing fluid due to it getting dark and smelling fine getting it all out of the box did it again, and finally pump started doing the normal whine and slow response.
Solution for that E series vans had saginaw pumps swap bracket and all and enjoy. But first check your steering components first make sure everything is good and tight sounds to me like something is wore out.

How are the radius arm bushings? were they changed too? does it jerk when your running down smooth road or when you hit a bump?

Maybe theres a clog and its building pressure and keeping it locked on one side of the gear.
