1974 F100 Burning Oil

After 15 minutes my truck starts burning oil out the exhaust - any suggestions or does it need a engine rebuild ?

thanks

The two most likely causes are

1) Worn oil control piston rings
2) A clogged PCV system or bad PCV valve

Check over the PCV system to make sure it's not clogged. If it checks out, you'll want to do a compression test to check the condition of the piston rings.

Do a compression test or even better a leak down test on the motor
