Get a four wheel camper's camper. They weigh about about 800 lbs.
Lifted that high, I wouldn't want a full profile camper unit in my truck. (Mine's lifted 11", if you remember)
You can extend the jacks to make it work (adding longer pipes)

jetjock, no problem. My father-in-law built them and he is a Sandia National Labs retiree. That probably explains it all. The supports stick under my tires a bit, but I never noticed backing over them and I am sure you wouldn't and could make them longer if you wanted. There really isn't a problem going higher, as the weight of the camper works against the jacks, the only real instability is if you don't get the angle centered with the weight of the camper. I'll probably be taking the camper off next month and I'll try to remember to grab the digital camera and take pics for you.

I know you already have many replies, but seriously now...you have a 12" lift and you want to put a camper on it? I have an 11.5 Alpenlite camper that weighs 3400 lbs. My 6.0 CC long box which is completely stock handles it just fine but really struggles in anything more than a 30 mph wind. Around corners with the wind and then 12" higher. If you're a pilot you've done rolls before but this roll you won't come out of. No matter what device you come up with to get that camper off that kind of height, it's very dangerous. Dangerous driving and dangerous to put that kind of top weight on any kind of a jack. I always take my camper off with it's Atwood power jacks and then pull the pickup out and lower the camper back down onto some sawhorses for stability. A 12" lift means that when you take your camper off the top would be approximately 12 feet high. Some overpasses aren't even that high. How about a travel trailer with a 18" drop hitch? I hope I don't appear to be chewing your butt, but this is pretty serious business. I've been pulling a camper for years and have seen some pretty ugly stuff. Not worth dying over buddy.

695lbs and only extends over the cab 1 foot.. that would make my truck 8 ft 11 inches high... i hope most overpasses are that high?? i haul quads in the back of my truck over 900lbs... thats more than the camper??... i also haul lots of logs in the back wieghin more than 1000lbs a load........ i already pull a trailer i have a drop hitch.. thats why i wanted a unit in the back... Please refer to post number 1.. i specificallly asked for anyone not to reply to the top heavy scenrio... as this topic was just mainly to catch ideas...
but as always thanks for the advice....

Most overpasses are at least 13'6" on the main highways. They may drop down to 12' or so on rural roads. You can always call the department of transportation for whatever state you are going to travel through. If you have your route, they should be able to tell you what heights any overpasses are that you would encounter.
I deal with shipments on flatbeds everyday. Just look at any overpasses you deal with, and you will see what I mean.
You should be fine with one of those campers that pop up like a tent trailer.
Good luck and keep us posted, jetjock.
I kind of want to see it when you get it loaded.
