Jim, the truck replaces my 8 year old Toyota 4Runner. It has been a great vehicle but it will be good to get back to a truck. We had an F150 and a Tundra before that and before the F150 we had a GMC3500 454 gas job with a 120 gallon bed tank and a 38 foot center load horse trailer with 4 stalls and a dressing room. We could go by anything but a gas station.

It felt that way going down the road too. The GMC was a CCLB dually, the horse trailer was a gooseneck. I don't remember the overall length of the whole rig but at the time I know it felt pretty long. Of course today there are rigs a lot bigger and longer but that was a pretty sweet outfit at the time - truck and trailer were painted to match in a cream and light blue color scheme. The bed tank with the 38 gallon regular tank was a hoot to fill - it would take a half hour or more to gas up when we were low on gas. Folks would pull up behind the truck and eventually figure out it was going to be a while - some would get out and chat because they were curious what we were doing that took so long. Ah, the good old days.
