I still have a yard half covered in snow....in one place it is four feet deep. The nights are still below freezing so it will be awhile before I can work outside.
This picture was taken last Monday (March 25th) ...

We have melted some in the past few days but I can still have a dogsled race out there......

It has been so nice that I even took the Cobra out for a spin around town. The bad news is that I have also been taking Clariton for the last two weeks, the pollen is just nuts this year.

I've got spring here. Winter was pretty mild for us at my house but plenty of snow in the mountains. Interesting there is so much snow around since the 'we are destroying the world' types have come out recently to say we wont have any more snow which means all our rivers will dry up, and hydroelectric dams will become useless.

Up here in the north country the weather man said that the snow is getting ripe and sometime this next week with the rising temperature and the possible rain in the future we will experience the trigger point and the conditions will be right for flooding. Such is the life of living in the Red River Valley. Have a grat spring.

I think spring finally hit here yesterday......beautiful weather.
Today we took a drive in the coupe to one of the local lakes.....I was pretty surprised to see it still had ice on it!

Been tough to get anything done in the shop, just want to be outside. Onthe other hand, I see the mosquitoes are here already. You just can't win.....

We still have our full winter snow pack. No real melting at all. Last week the lows hit -30C. This has been a real bad winter and now it won't leave. I'm going nuts! Global warming, what a joke! Sorry for the rant.

The grass may still be dormant but my boy decided to take a swim yesterday before the water temp is over 100.
